i didn’t feel anything, yeah — that part was true. but i knew what was happening. i could still feel the glugging of fluid in my ears and the announcer's voice echoing, garbled like it was underwater and the boys from my team — and the other team — dropping down onto one knee around me after i fell.

Bookmarker's Notes
The smut was nice and spicy- top notch stuff, really, and the character dynamics, attitudes, dialogue, etc, were perfect and accurate. The humor was fantastic, kept on giggling so many times reading this. The thing that REALLY took me out in the best way possible was the ending because my HEART dog. That whole last chapter was perfect- the rest of the fiction was excellent if not perfect as well but gawd-DAMN that last one was the sweet maraschino cherry on top.

Summary
But then, just as she’s about to take the plunge, something stops her. There’s a sudden knife in her chest, cutting through her breathing.
Maybe it’s a delayed reaction to seeing Robin dive, to hearing Steve choke right before he was dragged under.
Or maybe it’s the fact that she’s looking down at the water, dark as ink, and a thought that haunts her floats up to the surface again: that water was one of the very last things Barb saw.

Summary
“Well,” Steve says, dismissively, shrugging, but it doesn’t hide the tight look on his face as he regards the spread with Hopper. “Nothing this informal, but, yeah. Last time it was—uh, yours, actually.”
Hopper, distracted over wondering from where he remembers the name Eddie Munson, refocuses. “My what?”
“Funeral,” Steve says, almost impatiently. “The last funeral I helped at. It was yours.”
Hopper blinks, frowns. Christ, this poor kid. “Oh,” he says unnecessarily.
“Sorry,” Steve says, shaking his head. “That must be weird to hear.”
Or, Hopper catches up with Steve Harrington at Eddie Munson's makeshift funeral.
