He gets hit with a boomerang after beating up the Water Tribe’s poor excuse for a soldier.. though after the third attempt, Zuko had started to dodge that. The Avatar appears, sacrifices himself, then escapes.

    He goes to sleep, and then it begins again the second he woke up.
