To Hermione it seemed harsh and unfair, to have your life twisted like that just because someone managed to sink their teeth into your flesh in a fight, like there was a sickening randomness to one of life’s most important events.

Summary
Bella jumps off the cliff in the middle of a storm with no thoughts other than those of reaching Edward and being with him again forever. She's pulled out of the water, dead, by not one but two wolves, and resuscitated.
