Summary
Charmer splays a palm on his chest, directly on his sternum, and despite the layer of his shirt between them, her touch is searing. Deacon wants to move away. (He’s lying.) She leans into him, mouth on his ear, hot breath tickling the shell of him and Deacon can’t stop his hair from standing on end.
“Do you like when I call Dogmeat a good boy, Deacon?” she whispers into him. “Do you want me to call you a good boy?”
Deacon opens his mouth to respond and—he’s mortified because he whimpers.
