“Will it be okay for me to have my friend with me?”
“Your friend?” Zayne’s voice was dubious, and you could imagine the subtle downward tilt of his eyebrows as he continued, “He can stay in the waiting area, if he must.” Sylus glanced at you and tugged his own arm, pulling at the band of energy.
“I’d be happy to wait for you, kitten, but,” he trailed off, dropping his connected hand back to your thigh.

Summary
After a yandere Caleb attempts to trap MC in a cage meant to keep her safe (and his), he has to face the lover that has stepped into her life during his absence. Sylus, having to be the one to free her from the cage, knows that he can't keep MC separated from Caleb forever and formulates an idea that would allow the three of them to function together in a way that satisfies all of their needs as comfortably as possible.
