Leo has only ever known how to be human. He was always careful with dampening his fire ability around people, but once he was found out, he was exiled into the Southern Wilds to fend for himself or die trying. The only thing that keeps Leo's hopes afloat are rumors of a human-led nation 180 miles to the north that accepts magical folk like him. Leo was terrified of facing this journey of self-discovery alone, but thankfully, he finds an injured house cat.
The mysteries of the wilds don't seem so threatening when you're facing them with a friend.
