A boy of Harry's height and frame stepped through the portrait hole. He had round spectacles, a long nose, and dark hair that stuck up in all directions.
"Wow!" Fred and George exclaimed in unison, looking between Harry and James. "You're identical!"

The first two nights, Harry sleeps like the dead— or, well, maybe that's not the best comparison, given the number of inferi attacks reported lately.
He sleeps like a log. Like a dead log. An un-re-animated dead log. From an everyday, inanimate, non-whomping tree.
After that, Harry wakes up screaming more nights than not, and he even cries on the bad ones, which makes James cry too. In this regard, James reckons that his first week of parenting a full-grown teenage adult bears an awful lot of resemblance to parenting a newborn baby. He feels both blessed and terrifyingly out of his depth.

As if she was a playable character in the game, Dakota envisions two options floating directly on each side of her head. Obviously, she had been dropped into this shit fest for a reason. And she was pretty damn sure that reason wasn't to wait like sitting ducks with Mr. Brightside over there. As much as she adored his company, though the same thing couldn't be said about him, maybe she could be of some help, be useful.
She did have some insight in all of this.
Maybe too much insight.
But this game wasn't a stranger to the Butterfly Effect, and her existence alone, without a doubt, probably has caused a huge ripple within the scheme of things already.
But Dakota Miller is shit. She’s neither brave nor selfless. But she could be a friend since none of the eight main characters were proper friends to the sad, broken boy who had trusted them. When she played the game, Dakota didn’t take such things lightly. So after all they haven’t done for Josh, she will do.
Is doing this, actually, now that there is a chance.
