Summary
Voldemort is living in the Malfoy Manor, and Draco does his best to simply hide in his room. Unfortunately, he can't hide forever and his father tells him that he will be taking the dark mark before school starts for fifth year and he will be expected to complete tasks for the Dark Lord. His parents can't protect him from this, much as they wish they could.
Draco had to decide between a possible lifetime of servitude and torture, like what his parents were going through, or he could renounce his name, run away, and replace everything he owned, hoping and praying that the Dark Lord didn't send anyone after him.
