Summary
After defeating Fyodor and barely escaping Meursault, Dazai is left physically broken and mentally unstable. With Yokohama’s hospitals damaged, he is transferred to Musutafu for treatment, placed under U.A.’s protection, and kept in an induced coma so he won’t immediately run off or cause trouble.
When Dazai wakes in a panic, Aizawa Shota becomes the first person to calm him. Assigned to guard him, Aizawa begins uncovering fragments of Dazai’s past: Demon Prodigy, Port Mafia executive, half of Soukoku, and a man with dangerous knowledge of the Book.
As Dazai recovers, strange incidents in Musutafu hint that the Book’s influence is reaching beyond Yokohama. Allowed to move freely, Dazai is offered a teaching position at U.A.—which he accepts with suspicious enthusiasm.
Between mentoring curious students, hiding his trauma, and analyzing the Book’s effect on this hero-filled city, Dazai begins noticing something alarming: someone at U.A. is acting like a traitor.
And Dazai plans to expose them.

Lily glances first at James—who is currently multitasking between mixing a drink and staring ahead—then follows his gaze to the door of the bar where two new people are entering: a dark-skinned woman with blonde braids down to her waist where her low-rise jeans and crop top reveal a navel piercing, and a curly-haired man dressed in all black with enough silver on to suggest that he’s either filthy rich or has recently robbed a jewellery shop. Their arms are linked, but this does nothing to confirm whether or not they are involved romantically. Even so, Lily does love a challenge.
She looks back at James who is already watching her, a grin spreading across his face that she can read like big, bold text.
“You take him, I’ll take her?” she poses with a matching smirk, though it isn’t really a question by now.
He winks. “You read my mind.”
