Summary

“I’m alright,” Chan inhales sharply. His chest burns. “I’m okay now. We can go back.”
“Hyung,” Jeongin mutters, ever so carefully, ever so softly, “You escape worded.”
Chan’s throat goes dry. He did.
He didn’t think Jeongin would remember. The coded vocabulary was created and used during their trainee days, whenever they needed help to get out of an unsafe situation. Whenever a certain instructor got too close. Too touchy.
Chan just never thought he’d have to use it again.
