Sometimes Chuuya wonders why he even bothers trying to sleep…
Between living with Dazai - which is, in and of itself, a challenge bordering on the impossible – having random members of the Armed Detective Agency turning up on his doorstep at all hours of the day and night – usually looking for the bandaged bastard – mostly without prior warning and working for the Port Mafia which often requires him to be on missions at odd hours; sleep has become something of a half-remembered dream, memories on which he looks back with a fond sort-of wistfulness.

No one knows what Boss Dazai did to the Guild member known as Lovecraft, but they all know that the creature now lives locked in the bowels of Port Mafia Headquarters. And they all know what it does, even if none of them say it out loud.
Members are sent down into the creature’s lair sometimes after missions. Either as a punishment, or, sometimes, as a reward.
Chuuya doesn’t remember why he was sent down here. Knowing Dazai, it could have been either one. Maybe both. But it’s too hard to remember, to even think, when he’s mounted on the slim tentacle in his ass.

Dazai, who started to walk again after composing himself from their almost crash, stumbled a bit on his next step while his head snapped in Chuuya’s direction with an alarming crack. He regarded Chuuya with one curious eye, then he chuckled.
“Don’t be silly chibi, we are already outside. Your tacky hat is clearly eating your bra–”
Chuuya’s irritation flared anew. From the corner of his eye, he could clearly see the two figures coming closer and closer, and he knew he had only mere seconds until the inevitable would happen.
“No, you fucker. I meant, go out with me,” Chuuya pressed on, throwing all his pride and dignity out of the window, then he gulped around the dry cotton suddenly clogging up his throat before he uttered his next words. “As in, date me for the week.”

Chuuya sobs, a tear falling, and his body relaxes in Dazai's grip.
Dazai's grin widens.
