She’s determined to get him to come closer as she knows he is following silently behind. It’s almost as if he’s reading her mind when Jack growls behind her.
She slips from the noise. Her front meets the muddy ground, and Samira loses her breath. Jack’s firm hands grab her ankles to drag her close to him.
His right arm wraps around her front so fast she barely has time to process her chin being tilted and her neck extending to the right. There’s no pause from him, only the sharp sting of Jack’s fangs sinking deeply into her jugular vein.
