Summary
It was only a matter of weeks after K-Day that Godzilla began really living up to his name. Entire nations began worshipping the Alpha Titan and his subordinates, just as they'd done in times prehistoric. Even Yancy and I - well, we didn’t worship Godzilla, but it wouldn’t be too much of a stretch to say that most of the Jaegers pilots were practically in love with the Titans. We fought beside them, we won beside them, we mourned our fallen with them. In a Jaeger, suddenly you could fight the hurricane, and you could win. With a Titan by your side, you were the hurricane itself. You were the Act that God Incarnate was about to rain down on the alien invaders.
“You should put that in your report,” Yancy laughs. “‘Observed Godzilla perform sick wrestling moves on the kaiju.’”
“Man, fuck McMahon! Wrestlemania belongs to Godzilla!”
“You mean, the entire planet belongs to Godzilla.”
“That more or less sums it up, yeah.”

Izuku Midoriya’s father is a Hou-ou — a Japanese phoenix.
For some reason, this means yokai have a standing invitation to pester Izuku with their existence. Birds assemble choirs for his birthday. If there’s no cedar leaf under the welcome mat, the amazake babaa that lives two apartments over will be knocking on their door by evening. His yokai-purifying excursions get mistaken for vigilantism far too often.
(What’s going on with All Might? Is Principle Nedzu a yokai? Tokoyami, could you please get Dark Shadow to stop calling me ‘my Lord’?)

“Eraserhead!” the high pitched voice of one of the many security robots that traversed the school, called over the speaker in his room. “Student on the roof of the dorm! Its passed curfew! Deal with it!”
The alarm ended, thankfully, once the robot made its announcement. Sighing and rubbing the back of his neck in agitation, Shouta reached for his phone to check the time. Clicking his phone on, the time revealed it to be 2:00 in the morning! Obviously he wasn’t the only one who should have been asleep in bed.
Grabbing his capture weapon from the hook on his door, he quickly left his apartment and made his way to the roof.
*I swear if I find Tokoyami and Dark Shadow screaming into the void, I will throw them into the void!* Shouta thought to himself as he pushed open the roof top door.
It took a moment for his eyes to adjust to the darkness outside, and when they did he felt his blood run cold with fear. Sitting on the edge of the roof looking down was none other than his number one problem child, Midoriya Izuku. What alarmed him even more was the soft sniffles and whimpering sounds coming from the boy.
