I know nothing about war and humanitarian work, but you make it feel very real and true. The story of Wille and Simon is very well tied with the larger story of the war and its consequences. It was hearbreaking on so many level but I really enjoyed everything. I loved their time at Wille's aunt's villa. <3
The themes about legacy, being able to make a change, grief, doubts, friendship... are very well spotted.And Wilmon love story is so beautiful ! Wille's demande mades my eyes wet, lol. It was so strong and beautiful.

Summary
Simon Eriksson does not have a crush on Wilhelm. Because Wilhelm is a goddamn Prince of Sweden and also, in all likelihood, straight. Right? So of course he doesn't. Except he's totally lying to himself. And maybe there's hope after all. Because as they get closer and Wille opens up more and more, Simon begins to think that there may be a teeny tiny chance that Wille is queer. If you squint.
It's a good thing they both know how to use their words.
