“And it made you think of me?”
His smile is all smug, betrayed by the pink blotching his cheeks and the tips of his ears. He leans with his forearm against the wall above your head, looking down at you.
“Of course it did,” he says. “Have you seen yourself when you fly?”

Summary
The year is 854, one day before Willy Tyber’s declaration of war. Olivia Braun, formerly Olivia Ackermann, prepares to walk through another day in Marley, miles and miles away from her home island of Paradis. Years away from titans and the birth of a baby girl had been distracting, so much so that it had become easy to forget just how difficult her life had once been. However, what she didn’t know was that the peaceful life she’d grown adapted to was about to be ripped away from her at the hands of a man she knew years ago; Eren Jaeger. Now thrown back into the fire, Olivia must dig deep within herself to resurface her Ackermann drive to protect her family from those she once called comrades.

Marcel Galliard was dead. They buried an empty coffin with a neatly pressed adult-sized uniform on a Tuesday. Faye Yeager stood in line and called out Porco’s name in the ceremonial roll call on his behalf when he couldn’t stand to see his brother's coffin lowered in the dust-covered churchyard, just to uphold the lie that this was normal—that it was normal to throw their nation’s children into the fire as mere kindling. She doubted it, as much as she doubted she would ever live to see thirty.
