Summary
It is the forty-first millennium of Man, and the God-Emperor has rotted on his throne immobile for ten thousand years. A corpse-fire that burns for the sake of delaying the darkness of the warp from falling in full upon the Galaxy. The promise of a better future is long dead, and with enemies at all sides, mankind seems doomed to a slow and inevitable extinction.
Then along comes a scrawny psyker, ready to be soul-bound and made into yet another Astropath, who knows all together far more than he should.
