Childe is hopelessly in love with Lumine, but is convinced that she only sees him as a hook-up. Instead of talking about it, like normal people do, he makes a series of very bad decisions, including but not limited to: 1) hooking up with Zhongli to get back at Lumine and 2) getting himself sent to prison to sleep with the Duke of Meripode so Lumine finally talks to him.
