Frisk could keep a secret.
They were known for being a very reserved child. Almost never spoke. Very self-sufficient.
They were full of secrets, from everyone else’s perspective. No one knew anything about them. They were an enigma.
So this was nothing new for them.
It should’ve been easy to keep from everyone.
It should’ve been easy to keep Chara from everyone.

Summary
Frisk had long given up on dreams, on the future, since long before they fell into the underground. Chara never got the chance to dream, other than dreaming of disappearing. But then they both climbed a mountain, and across time, they have become intertwined. There cannot be one without the other. Since they were twelve, they’ve been stuck to each other, and both of them silently hope that they’re stuck together forever.
Come hell or high water, they will grow together. They will heal.
