Summary
Howard Jones spent his whole life following orders, from Operations Just Cause and Desert Storm as a lieutenant commander and team leader of SEAL Team Six, a CIA black bag and Ground Branch operative, a CIA Treadstone/Blackbriar operative, a 3rd/4th Echelon Splinter Cell, to a Baltimore PD patrol officer, SWAT commander, and homicide detective.
Still, all of that doesn't change the fact that he needed a fresh start and decided to leave the country to find a purpose to atone for the actions that he carried out in Treadstone and Blackbriar, as well as an incident that happened when he was a cop.
But, when he rescues a former female human turned tanuki beastman named Michiru and finds himself in the beastman sanctuary Anima City, he slowly uncovers a conspiracy that will decide the fate of all beastmen while he deals with a wolf beastman named Shirou Ogami, who dislikes and distrusts him for being human.
