The day of the promotion I was very tense for my standard. I couldn't help but wring my hands in my gloves, feeling the uniform heavier than usual, the boots tighter than the previous day.
But it wasn't for myself that I was agitated; I already knew about my promotion from rumors, I was already aware that my goal had been reached, and, also, I'm not one who gets excited easily.
