“We have to stop running into each other like this, Mr Diaz,” Buck said as he pressed gauze into Mr Diaz’s thigh.
Mr Diaz chuckled, “I don’t know what you’re talking about, Firefighter Buckley, this is a perfectly normal way to get someone’s attention.” He winced slightly at the pain radiating up his leg from the slash wound. “And how many times do I have to tell you to call me Eddie? Or do I need to get myself into another couple of accidents before you call me by my first name?”
“Okay, Eddie, you wanna tell me how this happened?” This is the third time Buck has run into Mr Dia- Eddie in the past two weeks.
