Summary
The Yokai are strange apparitions, not limited to ghosts, spirits or simply supernatural entities that entice and endanger mankind since the dawn of civilisation.
The people of Gehenna have taken to calling their notorious bounty hunter such for their mystery and uncanny prowess.
The irony of such a title, handed to them who have no soul nor supernatural powers is not missed by them. It is ironic too, that while simultaneously mechanical and paranormal, they are irredeemably human in some limitations and earnings.
When they request aid, another Yokai answers the call.
[Alternatively: Fl4k does the Bounty of Blood on their own. They are damaged and underpowered, and request Vault Hunter backup. The one who answers is the most unlikely of all. Romance, sentient robots, ninja aliens, and japanese cowboys. What else do you need?]

Summary
They carry names into a new era, an eternal night that cradles its carrier, at times frigidly bright, like the pale moon that lights it up.
The idea of a sky and moon is absurd, as is most of Ze'mer's folklore. But they like the poetry of it.
They live on, timeless, beyond death and transformation. There is no shortness of work ahead of Hallownest's newest Court. But they decide they very much like the idea of living one day at a time.
[Sequel to "Built to be Destroyed". Will not make much if any sense as a standalone. More info on notes and tags]

Summary
The Hollow Knight was built to be destroyed, ultimately. Anything after is a boon, a gift for them in their post-mortem.
Why they keep on living is beyond them. Nonetheless they do, with the Daughter and Ghost of Hallownest by their side to face the quietness of the endless night, without the threat of the Old Light’s dawn.
What is death but further transformation?
[Alternatively: The siblings survive and gang up. Lots of self-discovery for the HK. Check tags for more details.]

Summary
ie. A deep desire for a change of mentality, lifestyle and spiritual conversion.
From a historian’s perspective, change is not unlike a pebble dropped in a still pond; it creates waves in circular motion, including in the past that precedes it, waves past only clear once the waters are still again.
He walks among us in flesh, in a Serkonos still caught in the ripples of change. He knows there is a while still before the water settles. However, he isn’t bound to distance anymore, that is another’s role. They have exchanged places, have they not?
Both with the desire to do better than the other had done, he hoped.
[ie. The Outsider is human, Daud is the new Outsider. They exchange info on how being human/God, and them both suck at it. Serkonos is still a mess and the people we know are trying to sort it out. Check tags for more, this work has a will of its own.]

Summary
Mercy has brought mortal enemies to a common ground, and together they face the Morgan and Morrígan of their generation, as did Merlin and Arthur eons before.
“He felt in his heart cruelty and cowardice, the things which made him brave and kind.”
― T.H. White, The Once and Future King[Pacifist Jonathan Reid spares Geoffrey McCullum and they go on a partnership to end the epidemic. A romance with concepts inspired by the Arthurian legends, freeform with the abilities and lore presented in game. Could be considered an AU. Read the tags for more of the contents present.]
