Perhaps he should've seen it coming, as Elsie was never quite content when there was something she didn't know, so of course she wanted answers. If he truly knew her at all, the uncertainty was eating her alive, a feeling he was all too familiar with. Who was he to deny her whatever reprieve he could offer?

Vox gets carried away a lot. And every time, he returns to normal when reality finally hits him in the face. But this isn't the usual (typically Alastor-related) breakdown. This is an insane, suicidal ‘I-don’t-care-what-happens,' 'I’m-a-god-and-this-is-my-destiny’ breakdown.
