Summary
A scientist hurried past his cage in a rush, and Grian tensed, drawing his leathery wings up around himself protectively. They didn’t seem focused on him in the slightest, but one could never be sure with these people. They could be preparing some new method of torture for him, some new experiment that he would have to endure. Or at least, that’s what he thought, all the way up until they brought in the angel.
Grian knew immediately that the person they were dragging through the doors was an angel. Even if they didn’t have their large feathery wings out, even if they didn’t have a dull halo encircling their head, he would have still recognized them for what they were. There was an energy to them, a power of pure good radiating off of them that made him feel almost sick to his stomach. Or maybe it was the smell of their built up emotions, slamming against the walls of their semi-mortal body, begging to be given away.

Summary
The Menagerie is a courier ship—not a passenger ship. As captain, this is something Grian has always been adamant about.
That being said... when the going gets tough, sometimes the tough take on two mysterious, magnetically charming passengers who agree to pay their way in cash in exchange for as few questions asked as possible.
And if comms go down eleven hours into a month-long journey... well, that's probably nothing to worry about.

Summary
Scar's door was left ajar, a temptation made of wood and a ray of light, which, in hindsight, was damning for the both of them. Why had she left it open? Why do humans always try to steal a glance behind the veil of the great unknown, Grian first to succumb to the prickles of curiosity?
Yes, there was a great chance that she'd be exposed to a whole lot more of naked than she was comfortable seeing, but Scar had never shied away from her, loud and clear in just about everything. Besides, there was this unease nesting in the back of her neck, right inside the soft cartilage between two vertebrae.
It was just going to be a quick peek, to make sure everything was alright, and maybe they'd laugh at it later, or at least Scar would laugh at her, and she'd just roll her eyes incapable of uttering a justification that didn't sound like she cared too much.
Holding her breath, Bluebeard's wife breaking the status quo, she leaned to peer through the five centimetres space that, unbeknownst to her, would forever frame the rest of her life.
Grian discovers Scar's been holding secrets tight against the roof of her mouth, and it goes just about as well as you expect it to be.

Summary
Scar's been harboring an ill-advised something for his favorite student, Grian, for far too long. A night out at the club should help get his mind off of it, which he desperately needs, and the handsome young stranger he meets there scratches just the right itch.
Surely this mysterious encounter will solve his problems without any unexpected complications.

Summary
Grian’s not ashamed to say that he thinks Scar is hot. That over the course of double life, he may have sprawled on a chest a few times and watched Scar build, shirtless in the sun, and admired him. But the one thing Grian always needs is an exit strategy. He’ll be as coy as he wants, will enjoy the sight of Scar and the thrill of their two hearts beating as one, as long as he can vanish at any moment with a cheeky grin and a flutter of wings.
Now his wings are clipped and he’s stuck in a two-by-one block hole with Scar, with nowhere to go until Tango and Jimmy give up on trying to kill them. And knowing Tango, that could be a while. Grian can feel the inside of Scar’s thighs pressed against his ankles, and that alone is giving him a dangerous number of ideas. Heaven knows what he’ll come up with if they’re trapped in this cave for much longer.Bookmarked by Rose_Kestrel28
