Summary
When the council of elders orders Kakashi to find a wife to ensure the longevity of the Hatake clan, they don't make it easy for him. His wife will know nothing of his life, his past, who he is, and he knows that he could never truly love her. He might care for her, would be good to her, but he would never be who she deserves. How can he, when he's so broken and lost? When he's so worn down and damaged?
Haruno Sakura knows nothing of shinobi, isolated as she is from the rest of the modern world. Being married to a stranger is hard, even more so when two people from different worlds come together to make a home. But as with all things, life has a way of pushing people together despite all its challenges; and it turns out that even when all feels lost, they'll always have each other.
