“Earth’s crumbling,” he told it, running a hand through his hair, “people are succumbing to their fears, turning into monsters, and being killed by the ones they love. And it’s going to keep going like that, unless some miracle happens,” he closed his eyes and took a deep breath, “When’s that miracle going to happen?” He opened his eyes again, and smiled when the moon gave no answer, just shining in the sea of twinkling stars.

It's the year 2179, the middle of March, and humanity is already coming close to being extinct. Ten knows all that matters is surviving. Kun had apologised profusely for sensing Ten back to NeoCity for the mission, and even though the latter said he'll be ok, he finds himself crumbling everytime he meets a figure from his past, who then don't hesitate to gather his pieces and mold back together. And now Ten's missing the biggest piece of him, in the hands of someone who never failed to make him feel on air, even after 6 long, painful fucking years.
He's back for the last piece of his heart, and he's not leaving without it.
