Summary
She’s a gallery curator whose job is to decide what art is “good enough”—a life spent safely on the sidelines of creation, paralyzed by the fear of her own judgment.
When she’s assigned to work with Hwang Hyunjin, a painter whose raw, emotional work is taking the art world by storm, her carefully ordered world begins to unravel. Hyunjin sees what she’s worked so hard to hide: she isn’t just a curator—she’s an artist in denial.
As he challenges her to create, the lines between muse and creator, admiration and desire, start to blur. But with their reputations on the line, she must choose—stay the gatekeeper of others’ brilliance, or risk everything to make a masterpiece of her own.Bookmarked by Rossally

tortured artist jinnie is my drug 💘
I'm not normally one for reader insert fics, but this treats many topics I'm very passionate about.
Descriptive and poetic, the vibes are very well achieved. Feels like living in a picture or a scenario.Special mention to the description of Hyunjin's studio as something you can see him and his thoughts through.

Ahh, the amount of times I've sat with a guy at a corner of a dark bar.

Summary
"Hyunjin, what's it like being the—the beta of Stray Kids," Hyunjin reads out, a slight tilt to his head.
Comments were flying across his screen after he'd spoken. There were things like "is it fun???" and "don't you get lonely? ☹" and then the occasional "what do u do during heats ㅋㅋㅋ"
"Well," he starts slowly—mindfully, almost. "It's—well, Seungmin is a beta too, of course, but—" he sucks in a breath, considering. "For me specifically, I think it's—definitely nice?"
Everyone knows that suppressants are damaging for omegas to take; forcefully subduing their secondary gender is something life-threatening.
Hwang Hyunjin has been on suppressants since he was 16.

Ahhh, Hyunjin-centric fics about loss of identity are my guilty pleasure 💘 I'm not normally into "hard" omegaverse fics with strong heats and ruts, but the angst here is so so so good, and the emotions so strong. It's also interesting to see how suppressants work in this universe.
Even though there are six more chapters according to the stats, I think this is a fitting ending - I am not left unsatisfied. Ngl, I'd love to see him back to his glory, but this is a good place to end it.

Summary
Light blinked back into Minho’s vision. There was something soft and warm under his head. As his vision focused in he realized Chan was staring down at him with poorly disguised panic. He was holding Minho’s’ head softly against his thighs. Minho groaned and placed his arm over his eye in an attempt to block out the blinding lights.
“You fainted,”
“I know. I do that when I’m sick,”
“Have you fainted already this morning?”
“Twice. Or three times. I can’t remember,”
------------
Minho wakes up to find himself in the midst of a severe POTS flair-up. He calls Chan for help and Han gets dragged into the mess of caring for their sick friend while he recovers.

Loved the angst, and loved how Han is really trying to help even though he is a little bit clueless.
> “Because I wanted to dance. It’s impossible to put into words how much it hurts to be unable to do something you love because your body can’t do it. I doesn’t matter how much I want it; I just can’t do it.” Minho’s voice cracked.
🥺🥺🥺
Ready to dive into the rest of the series!

I really loved this. I'm a huge fan of angst, and this had plenty of it, really liked the hopeful ending as well - and fics set in the future are really fun, it's cool to see each author's idea of what each of the kids are doing once they go on their own.
> But more than that, he just doesn’t want to be terrified anymore. Of anything. Ever.
💘💘💘 I relate to this so much. I just want to hold his hand and encourage him.
