    She is something like Mahito's companion. If only because her soul intrigues him. She recalls a past life and her body is entirely different from this one she has, she tells him as much, and it's an odd relationship. He tries to kill her with Idle Transfiguration. It doesn't.

    She lives with her soul being changed every week or so. She also has to live with being on the wrong side of the fight.

    Nadeshiko's soul and body are disconnected and she's been dead before, her soul wasn't refitted for her next life's body, her soul accepts any souls being combined with hers, she doesn't have an ounce of cursed energy, so maybe she's not as human as she thinks she is.

    To survive, she will learn how to accept the cursed spirits... and being a living zombie.
