Draco would like to say that when Potter barged into his office at nine-thirty in the morning, locked the door, and demanded, “Are you in love with me?”, he sneered back and said something quite clever and cutting along the lines of please, Potter, I know we’re not trying to kill each other anymore but I have the good sense and, more importantly, standards not to throw myself at you or maybe at least I see your ego hasn’t gotten any more tolerable since school.
What he said in reality, though, was, “What? I—what?” He tried again. “Have you gone completely mental?”
A botched love potion makes it so that everyone in Harry's vicinity is madly in love with him—everyone except Draco, that is.

It seemed absurd, like a familiar painting in which a tiny detail had been changed, transforming it into something the same but entirely new. The cool winter wind tossed Draco's hair, which fell open on his shoulders, to the right. Harry moved closer and sank down beside him. Instead of the starry sky, all they saw at this time of day was a dense grey of clouds, which almost looked like the eyes of the boy next to him in their richness of facets and different tones, hiding something much more profound behind them.

Harry thought the end of the war would bring relief. Instead, he drags himself through sleepless nights and empty days, more lost than ever. Hogwarts offers little solace; exams mean nothing when the future feels hollow. And then there’s Draco, like a ghost from the past, only sharper, stranger, and impossible to ignore. Whatever pulls them together is relentless, and Harry is no longer sure he wants to resist.

“One stray curse flew past Draco before he could react to deflect it and hit the wall above Potter’s head, causing the wall to explode. The blast knocked Potter forward, dropping the glass orb in front of him, into the space between them. The impact caused the orb to shatter, but instead of mist or words from a prophecy like Draco had expected, a bright white light enshrouded the room, and Draco’s vision began to get fuzzy around the edges before going black.”
Or Draco Malfoy and Harry Potter are flung back in time just before their first year starts and must figure out a way to either get back or fix their future.
