Summary
Princess Andromeda of Lilindell’s safety is of the utmost importance, so her guards must be chosen very carefully—guards that flock to the palace like suitors, to compete against one another in a series of tests to prove themselves worthy of protecting the future queen. What neither the princess nor her steely-eyed father know is that one of these guards is actually a simple village girl, masquerading as a male guard under the name of “Capelle”, come to the palace with one goal in mind—a goal that, under no circumstances, can the intriguing and strangely alluring princess know.
Only one problem—This entire tale takes place within a storybook that someone picked up from the local library and forgot about. The enigmatic Capelle is, in fact, a starry-eyed teenage boy with hair the color of gold named Chase, and the fabled Princess Andromeda, a sulky stranger with a strange grasp on humanity named Nox.

Summary
Typically, Chase and Buddy butt heads more often than not, but lately, they've had more good days than bad, threats have devolved into banter and playful jabs, and concern for Buddy's living conditions have taken up more and more space within Chase's thoughts. Now set on the decision to rescue Buddy from Ex Libris, Chase must figure out a way to convince Buddy that he can and deserves to be saved, but the chasm of distance between them is wider than he originally anticipated. Eventual happy end, but, geez, the Don Bluth-esque obstacles we gotta go through.
Rated for Teen And Up Audiences for select cursing and later descriptions of a spooky environment.
