Ian was just getting ready for the long ride, neatly storing his belongings under the bottom bunk, when a commotion from the outside corridor distracted him, and the door to the cabin was basically being ripped from its already fragile hinges and—would you look at that. That same rude fuck was now sneering at him, rolling his eyes into the stratosphere before throwing his ratty backpack on the top bunk. “Of-fucking-course it’s fucking Annie.”
(In which Ian is an artist, Mickey's on the run from something, and the train they're both on breaks down in the middle of nowhere.)

Summary
“I wish you had gone to juvie.”
There was one of those automated clap-tracks on the television as another contestant got the question correct. Gallagher’s eyes were dark as the blue lights of the television screen threw weird shadows onto his face. Mickey wished, almost idly, that there was more lighting in the Milkovich household, if just so that Gallagher didn’t look so ominous. He picked up the remote and muted the TV.
A canon-divergent story from 1x09, in which Tony Markovich suspected foul play and coerced an unwilling Mickey Milkovich into revealing the truth about Kash Karib.

And it’s as Ian’s turning properly to look at him so that Mickey can fully appreciate the eye-roll that Ian feels is the necessary response to his husband being his own special brand of idiot that Mickey’s eyes start to bug in panic and his free hand slaps quickly over his mouth. He’s gonna boot again.
Mickey doesn't drink enough water on hot days and Ian thinks that's dumb, but he loves him anyway.
