Glittering buildings several stories high reach up to the pristine Traveler above, the sun’s rays and clouds dotting the skyscape. People from all corners of the galaxy and the universe congregate in the streets, turning the last bastion into an intergalactic foot traffic hub. It was known years ago as the Last City. Now, it is the First.
Two years after the war’s end did little to hinder its growth. It accelerated, in fact. The walls have expanded several times to encapsulate more land. The government has developed multiple agencies, some for future fights and others to extend olive branches.
It is bright, gleaming, and a vision of the future. Eli really hates it.
