Summary
Yoo Joonghyuk was once the son of a Grand Duke, a prodigy who displayed exceptional talent with the sword from a young age. He rose to become the Captain of the Royal Knights, entrusted with the protection of the royal family.
Until the day his father led a rebellion against the imperial palace in an attempt to overthrow the Emperor. Forced into an impossible position, Yoo Joonghyuk fulfilled his duty and executing his father to atone for the crime. The son of a traitor was spared execution, but stripped of all rank and honor, and cast into the resplendent palace of the Crown Prince as a mere servant. He endured humiliation without resentment, working in silence as a gardener, tending to branches and leaves within the palace grounds.
