Summary
As two young boys—excuse me, young men—with a tendency to care about how they are perceived by others, the Miya twins find it necessary to develop a method of communication that can serve as a substitute for such cringey verbal proclamations as ‘I love you,’ ‘I’m not ok,’ and ‘I forgive you.’
Because as children grow up and life becomes less simple, it gets harder and harder to literally say the things that mean the most. But then, there are other ways of getting a message across.

“Wouldyoudothatwithme?”
“Huh?”
“Would you do that with me? Be my warm-up? My trial run?"
Atsumu blinked. "Your guinea pig."
"You said it, not me."
“Why me?” Atsumu breathed out in what was almost a laugh. All instincts were telling him he had to be the punchline of a joke.
"You’re… convenient,” Sakusa’s eyes flicked up to meet Atsumu earnestly. “And… you’re a good friend.”
Or Atsumu agrees to an experiment that will help Sakusa get used to physical contact. But while Sakusa is measuring whether he's ready for holding hands or not Atsumu begins measuring something else entirely.

Frank groans.
“Yeah, yes, I’m living with her,” he says and Robby gets that crazy look in his eyes so Frank barrels on, “It’s not like that. Robby it’s not,” and Robby doesn’t look like he believes him one bit. “I’m living in her spare room and I pay her rent. We’re roommates. That’s not a crime.”

Summary
Once Atsumu had read the text, he straightened up and double-checked that he had everything in his bag, then began to stalk towards the door.
When he passed him, Sakusa raised one eyebrow.
Atsumu met his gaze levelly. “’Omi. Could you tell Coach I had to go? There’s been… There’s been a death in the family.”

Summary
Atsumu had had to draw the line when he came home from Onigiri Miya that morning to find Sakusa stood in the kitchen with a blowtorch clutched in his hands.
Juggling the cake Osamu had gifted him- a congratulations to Atsumu and his friends on making the national team for the Olympics, not that Atsumu was willing to share that information with said friends- and attempting to wrestle the blowtorch from his roommate’s hands had been quite the challenge and had nearly resulted in their apartment burning down. Atsumu had been lucky, honestly, that he had managed to rescue both the apartment and the cake.
The cake, which was now missing.
