Jimmy has spent so long pining after tango, even going as far to fake date Joel to spur him into jealousy hoping he might finally ask Jimmy out.
Fake-dating didn’t last long until Joel finally caved and asked out his crush, leaving Jimmy back to square one moping and pining.
Scott has had enough, enough late time FaceTimes, long rants on their shared groupchat with their high school friends, he was going to help Jimmy with his little crush, and have fun stiring up trouble while he did it.
(This is a ranchers fic, any other ships are technically in the past or unrequited)
