Josuke wants everything to be perfect. It has to be. Because, well, it’s Jotaro. And also he’s never gone this far before. He’s teased around the idea, he knows what he likes, what he’s pretty sure he’ll love, and though it’s daunting, when Jotaro leaves at seven in the morning, Josuke sneaks out shortly thereafter for a quick trip to the drug store to purchase supplies. There’s something especially mortifying about buying the things he does and the lady at the register is kind enough not to look him in the eye as he pays for what is very obviously, a lot of stuff that amounts to a teenager about to have sex.

The only window in Josuke's room, where Josuke himself had begrudgingly carried himself off to in the meantime, was covered in cold, sharp, white flurries of snow. For a brief moment, he imagined himself running out into the snow, burying himself inside of the frost and sleet.
Then, the doorbell rung, and it was as if Josuke's entire being lit into open flame.
Or, Every Christmas since 1999, Jotaro Kujo would come around to Morioh to spend the day with Josuke.
