Summary
In a universe parallel to the recorded version, Mulder returns from his abduction to find only three months have passed and Scully is four months pregnant(instead of 7). Scully is torn, needing him, unable to resist the magnetic qualities of their impenetrable bond, but hesitant. Meanwhile, Mulder already dove off the cliff into the deep end, is doing the backstroke, and waving her in. What will happen next for MSR? What will be different from the original now that Mulder will be there for most of the pregnancy? What will it be like not to give up their child for adoption?
