    The small child dressed robes that were a clearly a pair with Shen Qingqiu’s. The small child whose eyes were the same, sharp almond shape as Shen Qingqiu’s. The small child who, in its entirely, looked like a smaller version of Shen Qingqiu, down to the fierce glare.

    “A child, Liu-shidi,” Shen Qingqiu answered. “I would have thought you’d seen one before.”

    That’s what he thought until he saw a shooting star aimed right towards the bamboo forest on his peak.

    Yet he figured out what this pond was way too late since the lotus flowers were already sparkling from his freshly spilled blood. All he could do was watch as a creation came from his blood and the energy in the pond.

    A child.

    In Chapter 1891 of Proud Immortal Demon Way, in his classic bullshit writing fashion, the author Airplane casually revealed that the story's scum villain Shen Qingqiu had been suffering from a chronic illness since he was young. Since Shen Qingqiu, by that point in the story, was dead, this detail was, frankly, of no real interest to most PIDW's readers.

    Except for one particular reader, who happened to transmigrate into said scum villain's disciple shortly after.
