Despite being on top of the world, Killer decided to spend the night at the hotel anyway. His justification being that they should hold onto the promise of not moving things along too fast. He didn’t want them to end up doing something they might end up regretting later.

“Oh my gawd!! You guys!!! What if he’s trapped in there!?” Rico pointed a finger at Kid on the table.
Heat, Killer and Wire all exchanged looks with each other, none of them knowing what their crew mate was getting at.
Rico continued pointing at their tiny captain. “Kid!! What if his mind is trapped inside that baby body and he just can’t communicate it to us?!”
They all turned to stare at Kid with scrutiny. Killer was convinced that Rico was taking a shot in the dark. The Kid he knew, his Kid, if stuck in such a stature, would surely have been raging nonstop and tried everything in his power to get the crew’s attention that something was not right. This Kid in front of him, seemed quite content with how things were.
