    Not that he fucking deserves to be the author of this book. The traitor. It turns out queening is not all it’s cracked up to be. Xaden is cured. Unfortunately, we are now gods.
    I would like to know what kind of sick humour this is. Apparently surviving war, betrayal, crowns, venin, and my husband’s dramatic nonsense was not enough. No, now I have a kingdom to hold together, an empire to help reclaim, a sister ready to knife anyone who looks at her unborn child like a constitutional solution, and a continent still determined to catch fire around me.

    So, in summary:

    Xaden is alive.
    The gods are assholes.
    Brennan is a traitorous bastard.
    And if ruin is coming for us all, it’s going to have to get in line.
