"No, you don't under- understand. I was scared."
Bucky blinks, uncomprehending.
"I thought I was going to die."
And suddenly, it clicks. His eyes widen.
"...And you didn't want to," he realises.
Peter is sobbing harder now- not with sadness, or fear, or despair, as he'd thought- but with relief. With joy. He nods.

Neither Harry nor Snape are amused by this arrangement. But when Harry‘s health takes a turn for the worse and Snape finds that the boy may not be as arrogant as first believed, will they be able to pull themselves together?

Summary
Harry hated summer. He hated the Dursley’s house, he hated the weeks of starvation and heat, he hated leaving Hogwarts- the only real home he had.
And this summer had to the worst one yet. When the wards fall after an accident, Harry is forced to move into the dungeons of Hogwarts with Professor-fuckin-Snape, who is far too eager to pry into Harry’s past for his liking.
And the part Harry couldn’t figure out? On top of school, surviving dark wizards, and trying to master Occlumency, he’s like 99 percent sure he has a big, fat crush on this cute blonde in Gryffindor.
