    "It's really something you should talk to him about" Trinity still remembered the night when Dennis told her about everything that happened to him back in Broken Bow, how cruel his father was, the bullying he faced, that priest who got too touchy and Luke coming home that night with blood on his hands and one of their father's guns hidden under his shirt.

    "Just- is he safe?" Robby enquired, his tone turning more pleading now, he had to know Whitaker was okay. The pause before Trinity's confirmation did not reassure him.
