Summary
When Sakura Haruno is pronounced killed in action, the world she once held together quietly begins to fall apart. Team Seven fractures beneath the weight of her absence and the guilt that each of them carries.
Naruto swears she’s still out there somewhere, refusing to believe she’s gone and unwilling to stop searching. Kakashi carries the silence like penance. And Sasuke, who’d known her and loved her since childhood, learns what it truly means to be left behind.
Then comes Karin Uzumaki, a rescued experiment of Orochimaru, assigned to fill the void Sakura left behind. At first, she only wants to understand her, the girl everyone can’t seem to forget. But fascination curdles into something else. And piece by piece, she starts to take what was never hers.
Because if Sakura Haruno is gone, someone has to be her. And Karin is willing to become the echo.
But the closer she gets to the team, the more the cracks begin to show: the secrets they’re hiding, the nightmares they won’t admit, and the eerie sense that Sakura’s story isn’t over.
Because sometimes, the dead don’t stay gone.
