All Rooster had ever wanted was to be a WSO. He’d never had any interest in being a pilot - and when he finally got what he wanted, he’d hardly expected to be paired with Hangman, of all people.
But perhaps it wasn’t all bad. Maybe. If he would be willing to admit that Hangman wasn’t terrible.
That might have been easier to do, though, before everything went just slightly wrong.
