“You’re going to wish you’d just left, kid. The bosses never come down here,” Officer Walters sneered, handing the handcuffs back to the other officer. The third officer just shook his head, his hand resting on his taser like he was ready to use it at a moment’s notice.
Peter couldn’t help the sarcastic remark that left his lips. “You’re going to wish you’d listened to me in the first place.”

“I never thought you’d be the fathering type.” Natasha’s smirk is wicked and amusing. Steve probably would have laughed if he weren’t so disoriented right now.
Tony shrugged, lifting his coffee cup up like a toast. “Yeah, well, I never thought we’d ever be able to sit in the same room without trying to kill each other again. Things change, Nat.”
All of Steve’s thoughts come squealing to a record-scratch stop as Natasha’s words catch up to him. The fathering type, she’d said. Fathering? And Tony hadn’t denied it. Not even a little bit. “Wait a minute. Was that… your… son?”

“Let me sign the form, Parker,” May said, smoothing down the edges of the paper on the table and tapping the signature line with a pen she pulled from her hair bun. “Or I call Tony, have him sign it, and I explicitly tell him how excited you are to see him on the tour.”
He let out a long, theatrical sigh that shook his shoulders. “If I die of second-hand embarrassment, I’m haunting this apartment.”or
