Ben leads a lonely life until he stumbles upon Rey, a stray cat-human hybrid who is hiding from people after running away from Plutt. Ben patiently tries to work his way into her heart with food and kindness and their budding relationship might be a lifesaver for both of them. He also tries hard not to have sexual fantasies about her. Rey, however, has different ideas.
