Euijoo meets Fuma's eyes for as long as he can stand, then looks down at his own lap. He doesn’t really know what he’s asking. But he knows that it’s strange to be asking it: and to be so willing to do whatever it is Fuma answers.
“Mm,” Fuma says, a drawn out note. Then the bottle, placed precariously on the carpet between them. “Does our Euijoo have something he wants to do?”
Or: a drunken mistake, a pair of handcuffs, the way shame bleeds into desire. Euijoo takes his time figuring it all out.

Summary
“You should learn to use your words, Fuma,” Euijoo whispers. One of his hands comes up to rest on Fuma’s cheek, fingertips cold against Fuma’s flushed skin. Fuma shuts his eyes. “Otherwise I have no way to know what you’re thinking.” He leans forward, pressing their foreheads together. “So…what are you thinking?”
Fuma opens his eyes back up, and is met with Euijoo’s neutral stare up close. No judgement, disgust, or even surprise–just curiosity.
What is Fuma thinking? And how much of it should he tell Euijoo?

Nicholas rolls his eyes, the corner of his mouth pulling upwards into—and Euijoo hates to say it, because it sounds like a fucking cliche, and he is so not that kind of boy—but it’s a smirk. Wang Nicholas is smirking at Byun Euijoo. “All of my friends know each other,” he says, slowly, leaning forward. “And their friends know each other too, ad infinitum. So I need someone outside of that group, since they’d all know immediately that I was lying if I showed up with someone they knew. You get me?”
“You need me because I’m boring,” Euijoo summarises. “And because nobody knows me.”
“Something like that,” says Nicholas, and he looks way too casual for someone who’s asking another boy to fake date him.

Nicholas nods, biting his bottom lip. “And you?” he says, raising his eyebrows slightly. “Not dancing with anyone?”
“Well.” Euijoo shuffles his feet. “You did just catch me in the act of trying to sneak out.”
“A waste,” drawls Nicholas, and this time, he does make it clear that his eyes are tracing Euijoo from head to toe, dark with intent. “But perhaps I am the one in luck, if there wasn’t anyone who caught your eye before.”
or: Euijoo typically does not really like going to parties, but he can't bring himself to regret going to this one.
