And then he couldn't say anything else because he was crying.
Properly crying, not just tears but great heaving sobs that came from somewhere deep in his chest. He put his other hand over his face, trying to hold it in, trying to stop, but he couldn't. It just kept coming back, all of it, all of his past grievances. His mum dying, Linda dying, John dying. And now George, his Georgie, his other half, the kid on the bus who'd looked at him with such hope and trust. George was dying and there was nothing Paul could do about it. Nothing anyone could do. And he'd wasted so much time, so many years, being proud and stubborn and stupid.
“Oh, love,” George said softly.
Paul looked up through his tears. George was watching him with such tenderness it hurt to see, and he squeezed Paul’s hand.

Hiiii, could you do a fic of George Harrison x Reader (F) where they fall in love in Hamburg as teenagers, break up when he goes back to Liverpool because they don't want to do long-distance and fall out of love. Years later when the Beatles are massively famous, the bump into eachother in London or somewhere similar and fairly quickly begin the relationship once more?
