This fic is inspired by the Destiny 2 side quest Enemy of My Enemy, in which the Guardian goes up against the very regal and dashing Fallen Captain Mithrax the Forsaken, and can choose to spare him. Mercy the Hunter spares him, and then gets a little too preoccupied with Mithrax and sneaks aboard his Ketch, where things take an unexpected turn for her.

Commander Shepard and Garrus Vakarian. To those around them, an inevitability. But when two people who have trusted each other so unconditionally are afraid to take things beyond friendship, sometimes the only question left to ask is why? This story is a "What if" that details how their romance might have gone if they did nothing until the end of the Reaper War.
Unrepentant fluff and romantic erotica. Had planned 2 chapters, but it ran away on its own so more are coming.
Please note: This is Shepard after the Reaper Wars. She has been through a hell no one can imagine, was physically crushed, emotionally scarred and lives with the guilt that trillions died and she could do nothing to stop it. She doesn't want to be strong anymore. She doesn't want to be Shepard anymore.
I have marked this work as Complete for the time being. I am working on my other Shepard/Garrus story, and while I am still working on the next chapter of Why, progress is slow and I am not sure when it will be finished.

Reimagining of Female Shepard/Garrus Vakarian story through the game series. Mostly canon compliant with additions. Accent on snark and smut.
ME 1, 2 and 3 Youtube videos under the username Recidiva Quixotic with a play through for Morim and Garrus. I grabbed every bit of Garrus dialogue that wasn't drowned out by gunfire or Reaper noises. Includes a few additions that I love such as "Once again the Salarian Union requests that you stop touching that."

Summary
Book One: Though Darth Nox and Darth Marr have had an occasionally contentious working relationship since her ascension to the Council nearly a year ago, they formed an alliance after Nox saved Makeb for the Empire, and find themselves in a surprising situation on Rishi. What remains to be seen is how this unexpected deviation from mere diversionary entertainment will affect them, their professional relationship, and the Empire.
