The truth is, Will makes Mike nervous and Will had no idea. Mike would follow Will everywhere now ever since he moved back here. To be fair, it wasnt hard to since the byers lived with the wheelers. Mike would sometimes sleep in the same room with Will, letting Jonathon sleep in his room. He usually goes to Nancy’s but still. When waking up, Mike would brush his teeth then sharight to basement where Will is kept in. When he see Will’s painting Mike would just sit there, reading or talking to Will.
The point is, Mike finally focusing again.
Will hates the woods. And if Will didn’t seem to know that, then Mike does.Or
Mike don’t play about Will and sniff out Vecna’s bs immediately.
